Psychoanalytic psychotherapy in Brooklyn
I am a clinical social worker who works primarily within insight-oriented, relational psychoanalytic, emotion-focused, and trauma-centered approaches. I tend to work with individuals who have challenges and curiosities related to self and identity, unconscious internal conflicts and defenses, relationships, and how one's past and social location shape the present. I have received postgraduate training in relational psychoanalysis at the Stephen Mitchell Relational Study Center. I am a clinical supervisor and adjunct professor at the CUNY School of Labor and Urban Studies and Brooklyn College.
About
I provide in-person and remote individual psychotherapy. I am relationally grounded; I believe that understanding and healing occurs in the context of our relationships, and therapy at its core is the building and deepening of a relationship.
Services
My Brooklyn office is located in Flatbush, near the Newkirk Plaza Q train stop.
I am an in-network provider with Aetna and Cigna and can provide superbills for reimbursement for Out of Network health insurance plans.
